The first two weeks as a Nissan Innovation Specialist

I’m still in the Automotive trade but this is different. I’m still in the showroom but I do have an office now.

Nissan are heavily investing in altering the showroom dynamic and I’m delighted to be one of the first to ‘pioneer’ this challenge.

As you can see it is still very male dominated…

We are the first 15 out of a growing team of 50 ‘Innovation Specialists’ to join the UK dealer network. We are not sales people, yes you’ve heard me right, the majority of us are from a sales background but we are providing education without the sales pressure in the showroom.

How do you keep your customers?

So I’ve been going on about ‘customer retention’ a fair bit lately.

It makes up the first bit of my LinkedIn profile, so its fair to say it is important to me.

I work in customer service and I have also been the served customer. I know the type of experience that will ensure that I continue to use a brand.
